Celebrate Your Successes

Updated: Mar 3, 2023

It's really strange, but there are people out there who may not be happy with your success.

People you think are in your corner.

People you've met at networking events, and they've always seemed supportive and nice.

People you're connected with on LinkedIn.

People you've never met.

It’s really strange, knowing people you've never done anything to personally want to see you fail. Honestly, I used to let this get to me way more than I should have.

You might think:

What did I do to make them root against me?

Should I try to tone it down? Keep a low profile?

Pretend that I want to be average?

Here's the thing. You didn't do anything.

It has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with them.

It’s insecurity, a scarcity mindset, and plenty of other complex emotions.

The best thing you can do? Keep doing what you’re doing. Disappoint them—and keep making things happen.
