As we’ve added executive and business coaching to our services at Hoege Consulting & Coaching, we often get asked, “When do you know it’s time to hire a business coach?”
You probably know what we’re going to say — that there are many answers to that question. Here are a few we’ve seen:
✔️A new team or department is being formed at your company, and they need to be able to trust each other and row in the same direction — quickly.
✔️ Your organization is growing rapidly — or you’re wanting to poise your company for rapid expansion — and need to call on a new perspective to help you get there.
✔️ There are organizational politics getting in the way of what truly makes your company great — and you need an outside perspective.
✔️ There’s a bit of “analysis paralysis” — you know the decision to make, but you’re not making it, and you need a nudge.
✔️ You want to “up” your organization’s strategy game — but are too focused on the tactics and details.
✔️ Or, maybe you’re just stuck. You’ve run out of ideas, you’re not sure of your next step, and you need someone safe and trusted to brainstorm the possibilities.
There’s a misconception out there with leaders that they should be “lone wolves” and be able to go it alone and solve their own challenges. We’re here to say that rarely works — in fact, it’s often more wasted money and time in the long run. Organizations can only expand at the rate of growth of those that lead them — so if you’re stuck, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to help.
