Leading From the Middle of Chaos

Updated: Jan 2

Drop me in the middle of chaos, and I'll figure out the best next move and go from there.

It's my zone of genius.

It's often why my consulting clients hire me. And rehire me. And hire me again.

You know what my secret weapon is?

I talk to people, at all levels. I get to know them, what their pain points are and I start to pick up on themes.

  • Understanding and naming those themes against the outcomes or goals desired, allows me to quickly understand what is not working and prioritize appropriately.

  • If I can get after a root cause of a pain point, I can bring instant relief.

  • And from there, I begin to build the programming that will allow larger scale changes.

The themes can span across needed changes with technology and/or process and/or organizational structure and/or policies and procedures and/or people and leadership, etc. It very rarely is just one thing.

It's not easy work but I love doing it and I love helping others do their work better. It brings more employee satisfaction and engagement to the organizations I work with. And when your people are happy and engaged, there is nothing that can stop them.

Have something happening within your organization and need someone from the outside to help you understand what is going on? Let's talk.
