No, not like framing a house, but it is similar.
A framework is a structured approach or set of guidelines. It could include a set of principles, best practices, or steps to follow, which can be customized or adapted to a specific situation.
Right now, I'm working a Lean Six Sigma framework for a client. We'll use the framework to tackle a business process improvement and once I'm gone, the framework will serve as the guide for other business process reviews.
So, like the framing done on a new home, it provides the foundation or structure to build upon.
Anytime I can leave an organization with tools they can use on their own is a win.
Now, for some reason, I want to look at house plans.
