Why Have One When You Can Have Both?

Coaching or consulting. Why have one when you can have both?

There are so many articles and content pieces out there talking about the difference between the two, and why you need one or the other. But sometimes—especially in an organization—you need a little from Column A and a little from Column B to truly thrive and solve your challenges.

Often when I work at the organizational level, they need someone to come in and solve a problem they're not quite able to solve on their own. It might be understanding or strengthening the employee experience. Strategies to lead their organization through change, like a recent merger or acquisition. Or, it might be some good old-fashioned process optimization.

Once that deliverable is done, and the problem is solved, there are other actions to consider. How can we help our employees during this time of change? How do we lead around this new process? How can they do this on their own next time? That's where coaching can come in.

As a coach, I can help a leader better understand themselves, how they relate to their team, and how to use their own introspection and intuition to guide them. Here, the leader is the driver of the process, and I'm there as a trusted guide.

Regardless of the shift or transformation you’re looking for, we were not put on this earth to solve our challenges alone.
